SM Development Corporation (SMDC) launched its COVID-19 pediatric immunization program for children aged 5 to 11 in select properties to protect their communities.
The amenity spaces of SMDC were transformed into safe kiddie vaccination sites, while its partner, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), guaranteed the facilities' proper hygiene, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free vaccination site. The PRC also supplied medical staff and help with the COVID-19 vaccinations. SMDC residents who are doctors and nurses volunteered to assist with the inoculation and medical program.
The parents of the children's residents thanked SMDC for making COVID-19 immunizations more convenient and accessible to them. In the next months, SMDC plans to expand the kid vaccination program to many more of its properties.
SMDC not only provided pediatric vaccinations to its communities, but it also provided COVID-19 booster doses as an added layer of protection. They also provided free medical examinations in their buildings.
A healthy individual, according to SMDC, contributes to a stronger nation. It has always been SMDC's objective as a community builder to promote happy, healthy, safe, and prosperous communities, which is why programs like the Good Guys Health and Wellness Caravan are being introduced.
The vaccination program and medical mission organized by SMDC are part of the organization's ongoing Good Guys Health and Wellness Caravan. SMDC uses this initiative to provide medical aid to its communities, ranging from check-ups and free medicines to blood donation and COVID-19 vaccine.
Barangay Bundagul in Mabalacat, Pampanga on January 27; Fame Residences in Mandaluyong City on January 28; Breeze Residences in Pasay City on January 29; Carmona, Cavite on February 18; and Marilao, Bulacan on March 31 were among the localities visited by the SMDC. The SMDC's Wellness Caravan will visit Brgy Sun Valley in Paraaque and Joy Residences in Baliwag, Bulacan in May and June.
